We are back!

We are back from the wonderful family trip. Great food, great weather and of course great company :) Will update once I have the pictures from my cousins.

Let's welcome Alya Adriana!

One of my best friends, Hazila Natasha, whom I met through netball, gave birth to a pretty little princess, Alya Adriana, on 27 December 2009. A few days after she delivered, her son was admitted for a couple of days. It was a chaos for the family. Finally last Sunday after everything has settled down, she texted me saying it's OK for us to visit her.

I really love the name. Such a sweet sweet name. My hubby said he doesn't know how to address the baby coz both names are beautiful. Even the parents haven't decided yet :p

Baby Alya behaved very well. She was sleeping the whole time we were there. So we could not see her famous dimples.. Girls with dimples are very pretty aren't they..

Cepat Alya besar nanti main netball dengan Mommy Kam eh :p

Langkawi

I am helping a cousin to organize a family trip to Langkawi this CNY. There will be around 40 of us I guess. We were thinking of chartering a bus to Kuala Kedah, leave the bus there and take a ferry to Langkawi. In Langkawi we were thinking of renting a few 10 seaters to bring us around. Then, we will take the same bus back to KL.

We have yet to decide on the accomodation as well. As for the programmes, we might have to divide ourseleves into a few groups as there are shoppaholic, avid golfer, adventure seeker, nature lover and parents with baby among us.

I would greatly appreciate if you could give us some advice, tips or any recommendation on anything at all with regards to the trip to ensure our trip will be the greatest trip ever! Thanks!

iklan biskut raya

Lupa tempah biskut raya? Tarikh tempahan sudah tamat? Hehehhe.. cheesy x iklan macam nie.. Di sini saya ingin mengumumkan saya masih mempunyai stok biskut raya Elken kepada yang berminat.. Sedap ke tak? Uishhh.. mestila sedap.. with me ada 1 final box besar.. tinggal less than 20 small boxes rasanya.. according to my mom, most of the stockist dah habes stock.. Jadi mari! mari! beli dengan saya :p

Nicely packed in a box sesuai untuk dijadikan hadiah kepada mertua dan sanak saudara di hari raya.. setiap kotak ada 40 keping biskut... 20 keping perisa raspberry dan 20 keping perisa blueberry.. The biscuits pulak are packed in a small packet with 2 pisces of biscuits in each small packet.. jadi senangla nak makan x masuk angin :p

Biskut ni rasa dia ada macam butter cookies sket and dia letak oats jugak jadi sangat sedap dan berkhasiat :p saya adalah sangat susah untuk berhenti apabila mula memakannya :) seriyes.. x tipu..

Satu kotak cuma berharga RM21. Oh, produk ini adalah halal ye.. jadi jangan bimbang :p

Nyway, adam is back in terengganu until hafidz's wedding next weekend.. Miss him dearly... Owh.. Lupa.. Dijemput kawan2 sekalian ke majlis perkahwinan adik saya, Dr Wan Mohd Hafidz dengan tunangnya, Cik Salina Long pada 25 Julai 2009 di kediaman ibu bapa saya di Kuala Terengganu...
Bila dah pegi kedai mamak, mana cukup nescafe ais aje.. haruslah order maggi goreng n telur mata.. macam mana laa nak muat baju utk wedding apis ni.. huhuhu...

Sale! - Pampers Comfort

Last weekend, we went to Tesco Extra to get Adam's diapers. Unfortunately, Adam's usual brand was out of stock. So, Mr Hubby and me decided to purchase Pampers Comfort thinking that it must be okay since it's quite a well known brand.



Little that we know that some baby bums are just allergic to certain brand of diapers.. And price or brand doesn't even matter! Take Adam's cousin for example. He has tried Mami Poko, Huggies and all the other expensive range of other diaper brands but they just don't suit his cute little bum :p He can only wears Drypers.. No offence to Drypers fans.. I am just trying to emphasize on the pricing not the quality..

Anyway, it turns out Pampers Comfort is not suitable for our little Dadam. So, to all parents out there who swears on Pampers Comfort (Size L), you are most welcome to buy them at a discounted price. We have 2 of the 72pcs pack. One is still unopened while the other one we have used a few pcs. I am not going to mail it or anything so I would only sell to you if it is economically viable to pass you the diapers :D Any taker?

Hola! I am back! Actually banyak sangat keje nie... tapi xde mood sangat nak buat.. have been slacking off since yesterday :p Here goes:

1. Adam was hospitalized
Adam was hospitalized for a week for acute bronchitis. A follow up check done a week later showed that the phlegm was back without the nebulizer. So, Adam had to use inhaler (ventolin and ape tah lagi satu) at home :( As Adam is a big boy now (weighing 10.5kg and 80cm tall), we really had to wrestle with him whenever it's time for the inhaler.. huhuhu.. Anyway, here are some of Adam's pics in the hospital..


2. Adam can walk!
Just a few steps though. The most he walked that I have seen was 7 steps. So, I guess Annie won't have the chance to watch Adam crawling around. By the time you are back in end July, I bet Adam is already running around the house! ;p (Tue la sape suruh niat nak kick Adam's ass masa dia merangkak.. sebab tu Tuhan bagi Adam jalan cepat2 :p)

3. Hafidz is getting married!
Hafidz is getting married in end of July. Kain nak buat baju melayu Adam dah beli (supaya sama with the whole family) tapi x tau mana nak tempah.. Tadi call ada this one shop in Wisma Yakin tapi mak aih nak tempah baju Melayu Adam yang 1 meter je kain tu pun RM70 kalau jahit mesin kat leher and RM80 kalau nak tikam leher. Mahalnya! Dah nak sama mahal dengan jahit baju Mr Hubby. Anyone knows anywhere yang boleh tempah at reasonable rate? Around RM30 ke.. reasonable la kan?

4. Maid
We have a maid. Actually maid nie replacement. The previous one was sent home coz she has a fibroid. Maid baru ni alhamdulillah la kerja bagus.. Pandai layan Adam.. Masak pun OK.. Tapi masalahnya, dia mintak x potong gaji. Agent dia kat Indonesia pulak kata OK. Aishh.. Agreement with my Agent potong 3 bulan. Duit dah banyak bayar kat agent. So, discuss dengan dia, dia setujula potong 3 bulan, tapi bagi dia half a month gaji for 6 months. Sekali dia ckp gaji RM500 kan? WTF! My agent kata RM450 je. Dia kata dia dulu dah mintak dgn agent dia nak RM500. Kalau dia tau RM450 dia x mau datang. So what should I do now? Bila ckp with my agent, dia kata hantar balik aje. Amik yang lain. Sbb pandai demand mcm ni susah. She has some points. Tapi so far tengok this maid can be trusted. Keje pun ok. Should I relent and give her the additional RM50 per month? Or should I follow the agent's advice and send her back.. huhuhuh.. my worries nanti replacement entah mcm mana pulak.. boleh buat keje ke x.. boleh jaga Adam ke x.. huhuhuhu.. pening..

5. Groceries shopping
I wonder what is the average groceries expenditure for a family with 3 adults and a baby at home. Hmmmm.. all the while Mr Hubby n me x pernah buat budget properly for this. So, from 23/5 hari tu, I started to collect the groceries bill and it came up to quite a huge sum and it wasn't even 23/6 yet! The bulk of the bill went to Adam's necessities actually. His milk and diapers alone were already half of the amount spent so far. With the economics and our own tight cash flow, maybe we should start to skim down some of the stuff that we used to spend on. Cut the luxuries and stick to the necessities. Hmmm.. I guess being a parent is not as simple as I thought it would be. Having a child took up a lot of your resources - energy, time, money. But to be able to see your son smiles at you when he wakes up in the morning, to have him runs (or crawls) to you as fast as he could when he is scared, to feel him snuggling to you when he wants to sleep, every penny spent, every energy drained and every second passed are worth it. Seriously, a child is the best gift one could ever have. :D

Daddy is half way to be a CCIE after he passed the written exam last week. All his hard work and patience (for not going back to KT to see Adam) has been paid off. We are so proud of you dear..

So now Daddy has 18 months to complete the lab exam. Good luck dear!
